#MyBlackoutStory Challenge Rules

1. Who can enter

Creators based in Nigeria can enter. There is no age limit and no minimum follower count. Entry is free and no purchase is required.

2. How to enter

1. Create your blackout story. Video, photo, meme, skit, voice-over or text thread — phone-made is fine.
2. Publish it publicly on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X or YouTube. Your post and your account must be public so we can review it.
3. Use all three campaign tags on the post: #MyBlackoutStory #LetsGoSolar #Tursan
4. Submit the post link to LetsGoSolar with your name, email address and WhatsApp number.

All three tags are required. Tagging the @LetsGoSolar account itself is optional and is not an eligibility requirement — it just helps us find your post faster.

3. Entry deadline

Entries close at 11:59 p.m. WAT on 30 September 2026. Entries received after the deadline are not eligible.

4. Eligibility review

Submitting an entry does not automatically make it eligible. LetsGoSolar reviews every entry before it moves into judging, and we email you the outcome either way.

An entry may be invalid if, for example:

• the post or account is not public
• one or more of the required hashtags is missing
• the submitted post cannot be opened
• the entrant does not have the right to submit the content
• the same post has already been submitted

5. Prizes

Three prizes, one per winner. One person may win only one prize.

Prize units are Tursan power stations supplied by LetsGoSolar.

6. Best Overall — ODOGWU

Eligible entries are judged on four criteria:

• Creativity35%
• Originality25%
• Relatability25%
• Execution15%

7. People’s Choice — CHAIRMAN

There is no separate voting page. People’s Choice is based on the interactions your own campaign post earns:

Likes + Comments + Reposts

LetsGoSolar records these totals after the campaign closes, during winner selection. Suspicious or paid engagement may be excluded.

8. Wild Card — LAST BORN

One valid non-winning entry is selected at random.

9. Winner contact

Winners will be contacted using the email address or WhatsApp number submitted with their entry. LetsGoSolar will never ask a winner to pay anything to claim a prize.

10. Content permission

By entering, you confirm you are eligible and have the right to submit your content, and you agree that LetsGoSolar may repost or feature your entry in campaign channels, with credit.
